When you discover that your child has a learning disability it is often a stressful time. How to help and where to go for help is often the first questions parents ask. The websites below contain a wealth of information, support and teaching strategies. We do not specifically endorse one over the other, it is simply a short cut to information.

www.ldonline.com  This site has information for parents, teachers and students. 

www.schwablearning.org This site was developed by Charles Schwab who has struggled with a learning disability  throughout his life. He like many other famous people have been highly successful despite or maybe as a result of a learning disability. Schwab also has a link to a site for kids.

Westmark School for students with Learning Differences and ADD-ADHD links This site lists many links to various disabilities.

www.interdys.org The International Dyslexia Association (IDA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals with dyslexia, their families and the communities that support them

Learning Disabilities Association of America This is the main site for the Learning disabilities association. It will have links to parental support and suggestions
