Mrs. Tanner's notes:

November will be a feast of learning fun!  We will learn about Native Americans and celebrate our friends and families.  We will combine these themes with a study of America as we read Mr. Potato Head Across America when we make a potato head and send it to friends and family members across the country.

We are learning the lifecycle of the pumpkin, from our new math chapter we noticed that the pumpkin is shaped like a sphere- we are so smart!!

As artists we painted a pumpkin still life.

We have a teepee in our room as we learn about the First Thanksgiving and how Native Americans lived long ago.

We will give thanks for all Gods has blessed us with this year. Our family theme also will be celebrated as we learn about our church family and Jesus' family.

Kindergartners are soooo funny!

"Our Earth is a spear", said a kindergarten girl.  Another girl chimed in," You are right sweetie, but it is  said Suuu -Fear! As I laughed the correcting child said, "I said sweetie so I wouldn't hurt her feelings that she was wrong"!
