**** Agenda Reminder**** It is very important that you check your child's agenda nightly.

Multiplication can be fun!

Nightly multiplication drill is fun and easy when you play Multiplication War. The Saxon website listed below allows students to create timed multiplication tests to improve speed and accuracy. "How fun is that?"

Need extra help in math? I am available after school daily until 3:30. Please come if you need help!

Math and Religion Test Dates

Math - We are into fractions! We have learned how to find equivalent fractions, how to simplify and how to change mixed numbers to improper fractions. We will be adding, subtracting and multiplying fractions. Weekly quizzes will be given and a final fraction test will be given on Tuesday, May 20th. We will end the year with geometry fun!

Math - We will begin with chapter 1. Homework will be given nightly Monday through Thursday. Weekly quizzes will cover material covered Monday through Thursday. Chapter tests will be given upon completion of each chapter. Test dates will be posted one week prior to testing.

Religion -- We are focusing on the Sacraments. Chapter 17 is on Matrimony and Holy Orders. The test is Tuesday, May 13th.

STM is a Catholic elementary school for grades K-8. It is located in South Kansas City, Missouri, in a quiet residential area. The yearly enrollment is approximately 650. Read,Read,Read!!

Students are to have a suitable book for quiet , independent reading with them at all times. Please help them to select books on their reading and interest level. Book orders for Scholastic books will be handed out periodically in Language Arts class.
